There are many things that friends have in common that are why they have a good relationship, but there are differences that make a friendship special.
One thing my friend Melissa has in common with me is she likes to go to parties on Saturdays, so do I. And she cooks in her house in order to help her mother. In my case I also cook but only on Saturdays. Another characteristic is that both like to dance salsa.
One important difference is that she likes to read magazines and watch soap operas; in contrast I have to read a newspaper and watch the news in the television to be inform. She is missing what she has to do and I always have in mind what I’m going to do after.
I think differences and similarities are important in a friendship because the make more special the relation between two friends.
